DATIC 2020 Workshop Costs:
Early Bird Registration: If you register and pay in full prior to May 1st, the cost is $1,300 for the 4.5 day workshop. Please note that there is a non-refundable $100.00 cancellation fee if you cancel prior to May 1st. Workshop registration is non-refundable after May 1. If you are unable to attend the workshop, you may substitute a colleague for no additional cost. On May 1st, registration costs do increase by $200 per workshop (to $1500 per workshop), so it is most economical to register prior to May 1st.
If you wish to stay in the residence halls, you can register and pay for housing at the DATIC registration site. The cost is $60 for a shared dorm room and $80 for a single dorm room. If you wish to stay in our new On-Campus Hotel, scheduled to open in April 2020, you should contact the hotel directly. You can visit the hotel website for more information

Do you offer student discounts?
This year, we are offering a $300 discount for UCONN faculty and staff and full-time students from any institution, reducing the cost of the workshop for UCONN affiliates and full-time students to $1000. For non UCONN students, proof of full-time student status is required.

Refund Policy
Cancellations prior to May 1 will receive a full refund, minus a $100.00 cancellation fee. This fee defrays the cost of the credit card charges and the registration site charges.
Cancellations made after May 1 will not be refunded. However, you may substitute another student in your place.
Accommodations
There are three choices for accommodations for the DATIC workshops:
- UConn’s new on-campus hotel (Graduate Storrs)
- A single dorm room with shared bath
- Double dorm room with shared bath
The dorm rooms are relatively new and they are air conditioned; however, they are still dorm rooms. Sheets are provided for the beds, and a towel is provided for the shower. However, you will need to make your own bed, and there isn’t any daily maid service. The dorm rooms are suites— two bedrooms are on either side of a shared bathroom. This means that if you’re in a single dorm room with a shared bath, you share your bathroom with one other person. If you are in a double dorm room with a shared bath, you share the bathroom with three other people.
The price of the double dorm rooms is $60.00 per night; the price of the single dorm rooms is $80.00 per night. If you arrange for accommodations through us, the cost includes accommodations for the same number of days as the workshop. We generally assume that people will need accommodations that begin the night before the workshop starts, and that they will leave the day that the workshop ends. However, if you prefer to have your accommodations on a different schedule, just let us know. If you need extra nights of lodging (or fewer nights of lodging), please let us know and we will work with you to make sure that your individual needs are accommodated, and we will adjust the lodging price accordingly.
